Interbay Extends Lead
On a beautiful fall Sunday
at Jefferson Park, Interbay won four out of six matches to extend
their lead. Jackson, trailing by one, scored four points as well,
jumping into second place. Jefferson and West Seattle had to settle
for only two wins each, falling 2 1/2 points behind
Interbay. Course conditions at Jefferson were excellent. However, the winds
picked up on the back nine, making play difficult for
many. Competition moves to West Seattle and Jackson next weekend where singles
competition begins. With 48 matches remaining, competition is
far from over.
